Kion Wilson is an American Football Player who was raised in Jacksonville, FL. Attending William M. Raines High School, he began crafting his skills as an athlete During his high school athletic career, Kion ran cross country and played football. Pearl River Community College was his first collegiate stop where he was quickly recognized as a standout player. Given the amazing opportunity to play major D1 football, Kion later attended The University of South Florida as a Linebacker for the Bulls. During his time at USF, he received several incredible awards including: Rookie of The Year, Team Defensive Player of The Year, All-Big East First Team Selection, and Big East Defensive Player of The Week. While his numbers on the field were great, Kion took the hard way into professional sports. After not being selected in the in the NFL draft, he signed with The San Diego Chargers in 2010 as an undrafted free agent. Although this was a short stint, he went on to sign with the Carolina Panthers in 2011, and is now with the Pittsburgh Steelers. In his off time, you can usually find Kion in the great outdoors. He is an avid fisherman and hunter, and has some amazing catches! His favorite accomplishment yet is reeling in a 140lb fish! We wish the best to Kion in his upcoming season with Pittsburgh!
