Middle School Athlete’s start with a detailed evaluation process. The evaluation includes a mobility/flexibility assessment, physical performance measurements, mental performance test and a detailed biomechanical analysis of sprinting. Following the initial evaluation, a custom training program is designed for the athlete.
Training sessions are one and a half hours long and focus on a variety of skills based on the athlete’s goals, sport, and training needs. Research has shown that between the ages of ten to thirteen are a sensitive period for neuro-muscular development. Youth athletes develop proper motor patterns in sprinting, balance, and change of direction. In addition, they receive nutritional guidance and energy system specific conditioning. These skills ultimately lead to athletic success.
